Our expanding logistics center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is seeking diligent Order Pickers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Precision and speed are key as you navigate the warehouse, ensuring that the correct products are selected and prepared for packing and shipment. This position is fundamental to our operations, guaranteeing that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. We are committed to fostering a safe and efficient work atmosphere for all employees.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory and update order status.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order lists.
- Transport picked items to the packing station using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and assist in maintaining overall warehouse orderliness.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Understand and practice safe lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following logistics procedures.
