The Municipal Libraries Service (BMU) is in the Department of Technical Manager at 60%. The Municipal Libraries Service (BMU) is part of the Department of Culture and Digital Transition of the City of Geneva. Through its network of neighborhood libraries and its outreach services, the BMU provides essential support to the local policy carried out by the City of Geneva. To strengthen its teams, the service is looking for a Technical Manager at 60%. Your mission and responsibilities:- Contribute to the logistics and technical implementation of cultural actions.- Verify technical sheets and validate the feasibility of projects.- Ensure maintenance and management of multimedia, audiovisual, sound, and lighting equipment.- Assist in evaluating needs and formulating acquisition proposals, and ensure the update of the profile.- Have a background in sound, lighting, or digital arts, as well as experience in a similar position.- Show proactivity, autonomy, and be a source of proposals.- Have a good knowledge of cultural institutions in Geneva.- Master the French language and common tools.- Be available in the evening and certain weekends.Conditions and application procedure:Application deadline: Start date: Job classification: Class F of the salary scaleThe application file must contain the following elements:- Cover letter and Curriculum Vitae or, if not available, a completed Job Application form (to be downloaded from our website)- Copies of diplomas and work certificates- Recent passport-size photoAccording to the City of Geneva's follow-up, the recruitment process is decentralized.
