This is a Level 6 apprenticeship , meaning that upon completion, you will have gained 5 years of experience and a BEng (Hons) degree. Our chosen program is delivered by the University of South Wales , focusing on BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering.

At Sir Robert McAlpine, we typically look for candidates who:

• Have a passion for problem-solving .
• Are interested in construction, engineering, and the latest technology.
• Possess work experience (desirable).

To qualify for our apprenticeship, you should meet the following criteria:

• BTEC:
  • BTEC Diploma grade D*D*, with an A grade in A Level Mathematics or pass an appropriate assessment in mathematics.
  • BTEC Extended Diploma grade DDD, including the two Mathematics units: 'Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems' and 'Further Engineering Mathematics'.
• A Level: AAA grades, including Mathematics and a Physical Science. Applicants without A Level Mathematics may need to pass an appropriate assessment.
• Hold 5 GCSEs A-C, including Maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above).
