Join our vibrant logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio, as an Order Picker! We are looking for efficient and meticulous individuals to ensure the accurate and timely retrieval of products for customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be a key contributor to our warehouse operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction through your precision and speed. Your daily tasks will involve navigating the warehouse, identifying products using pick lists or scanners, and preparing them for the packing station. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all team members to follow established safety procedures diligently. The correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times while performing your duties.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick designated items from warehouse shelves and storage areas based on order tickets or electronic devices.
- Verify picked items against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles are clear and items are stored properly.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Operate equipment such as RF scanners and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts and stock checks.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety hazards immediately.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy standards.
- Follow all instructions given by supervisors and collaborate effectively with team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented logistics setting.
- Understanding of basic warehouse Safety practices.
