Join our state-of-the-art logistics hub in Los Angeles, California, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to play a vital role in fulfilling customer orders with speed and accuracy. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for efficiently retrieving items from our warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This involves using handheld scanners or pick sheets to locate products, ensuring correct item and quantity selection, and then carefully packing items to prevent damage during transit. You will also be involved in staging orders for shipment and potentially assisting with other warehouse duties as needed. Maintaining a clean and safe work area is essential, and you will be required to adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vests and closed-toe shoes. This role demands a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We are committed to a culture of safety and efficiency within our logistics operations. Previous experience in picking and packing is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using specified methods.
- Verify product information and quantities.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping.
- Ensure correct labels and shipping information are applied.
- Stage completed orders for outbound carriers.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear designated PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed.
- Meet performance metrics for speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding and adherence to safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
