We are seeking an energetic and efficient Order Picker to join our fulfillment team in Orlando, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction. You will work with RF scanners and other equipment to locate and pick products efficiently. A key part of this role involves ensuring that picked items are handled with care to prevent damage. You will contribute directly to the success of our logistics operations by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. The position involves physical activity, including walking, bending, reaching, and regular lifting. We maintain a strong emphasis on workplace safety and provide all necessary PPE and comprehensive training to all our associates. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Locate items on warehouse shelves and in designated picking areas.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items appropriately for shipment.
- Transport picked orders to the packing or shipping stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed for order fulfillment.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, including lifting and moving items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
