We are seeking dedicated Order Pickers to join our growing team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your ability to work with speed and precision is essential for maintaining our high standards of customer service and ensuring the smooth flow of our logistics operations. You will utilize our warehouse management system (WMS) to identify order details and navigate the warehouse efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to safety. All team members are required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safe lifting practices to prevent injuries. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with excellent attention to detail and a desire to contribute to the success of our distribution center. You will be expected to meet established productivity goals while maintaining the accuracy of every order picked. Key Responsibilities:
- Locate and pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Scan items and update order status in the WMS.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Meet individual and team picking performance targets.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for long hours and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Capacity for lifting products up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail for order accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety rules and the importance of PPE.
- Basic math and reading skills.
