Join our dedicated team as an Order Picker in Tampa, Florida! This critical role supports our fast-paced logistics operations by ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves to assemble customer orders. Your precision and speed are key to our success, ensuring that products are picked correctly and prepared for shipment. This position requires physical stamina and a strong focus on accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory locations based on order tickets or electronic scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues encountered during the picking process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking, warehouse operations, or logistics is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, and perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
