Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or RF scanner prompts.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Pack products securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately to packages.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks to transport items.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse orderliness.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts and collaborate with colleagues to meet fulfillment goals.
- Support other logistics-related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 35 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Understanding and adherence to safety procedures in a logistics setting.
