We are looking for a diligent and physically capable Material Handler to join our logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment within our warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, conveyors, and other transport vehicles.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Assist in receiving and shipping processes, verifying contents and quantities.
- Perform routine checks on material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Collaborate with colleagues to optimize material flow and support logistics goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 60 pounds regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Knowledge of basic inventory control principles and logistics operations.
- Strong physical stamina and dexterity.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
