Dynamic Logistics Solutions is looking for an experienced and certified Forklift Operator to join our state-of-the-art facility in Los Angeles, California. This role is critical to our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. You will operate various types of forklifts, load and unload trailers, and manage inventory storage. The ideal candidate possesses a strong safety record, excellent operational skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics and safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers with precision.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas, ensuring proper stacking and storage.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks on all equipment and report any mechanical issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict safety standards.
- Properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of safety and logistics best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience.
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Proven ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a strong asset.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence in logistics.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
