Our Las Vegas, Nevada location is seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our facility. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods, and maintaining inventory accuracy. You will operate various types of equipment and adhere to strict Safety guidelines. Your attention to detail and commitment to a secure work environment are crucial. We provide all necessary Safety training and expect consistent use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist in the receiving and stocking of inventory.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Properly use all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations of the facility.
- Collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
