Join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as a Warehouse Worker and contribute to the efficient operations of our distribution center. We are looking for a dedicated and energetic individual to assist with various warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods within our supply chain. You will be expected to perform physical duties, which include frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is paramount, and you will be required to adhere to all established guidelines and use the provided PPE consistently. This is a hands-on position that offers a great opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of warehouse Logistics . Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Prepare orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Assist in maintaining efficient warehouse Logistics .
- Perform manual Lifting and carrying of materials.
- Participate in inventory checks and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards and the importance of PPE .
- Basic understanding of Logistics and inventory flow.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
