Are you a highly motivated individual with a keen eye for detail? Our expanding logistics company in Denver, Colorado, is looking for a dedicated Order Picker to join our warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, ensuring the correct quantity and product specification, and preparing orders for shipment. This position demands physical stamina, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety . You will be required to perform frequent Lifting of boxes and merchandise. Adherence to all Safety protocols and the correct use of provided PPE is mandatory to ensure your well-being and the integrity of the goods. This role is critical to our overall logistics chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and correctly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
- Use handheld scanners or order sheets to track picked items.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE .
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods within our Logistics network.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Participate in regular inventory counts.
- Perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Proficiency in performing physical tasks, including repetitive bending, walking, and Lifting .
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE .
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience with Logistics systems is a plus.
