We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our team in Tampa, Florida! In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling of materials throughout our warehouse. Your primary duties will include receiving, stocking, and moving goods to support our overall Logistics operations. We are dedicated to fostering a secure workplace and provide all necessary PPE for our employees. This position involves significant physical activity, including regular Lifting and movement of items. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and internal transport.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Organize and stock materials according to established procedures.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, free of hazards.
- Follow all company Safety rules and procedures diligently.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Must wear and use required PPE , including safety shoes and vest.
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
