Join our team as a Material Handler in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! This role is vital to the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics processes. You will be responsible for moving materials, loading and unloading, and keeping our inventory organized. Responsibilities:
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Assist with put-away and retrieval of inventory from storage locations.
- Conduct regular checks of materials and inventory for accuracy and condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner, following established guidelines.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace for everyone.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to management.
- Assist with other warehouse duties, including order picking and packing, as needed.
- Follow proper Lifting techniques to prevent personal injury.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations of the facility.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus. Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 70 pounds. Must be able to operate forklifts or be willing to train. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Understanding of warehouse safety practices. Must be reliable and punctual. Commitment to adhering to all safety rules and wearing required PPE. Basic understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
