We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to support operations at our Phoenix, Arizona facility. This role is essential for the smooth movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for transporting materials, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining an organized inventory. Your efficiency and accuracy are critical to our supply chain's success. Responsibilities:
- Move materials from receiving to storage areas and from storage to staging/shipping areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Operate material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Ensure materials are properly stored, stacked, and secured to prevent damage or accidents.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow all established safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Assist with order picking and packing when required.
- Adhere to weight restrictions and safe Lifting techniques.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is a plus. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 70 pounds. Must be able to operate forklifts or be willing to be trained. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Understanding of basic inventory management. Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and using PPE.
