We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Sacramento, California. This role plays a key part in managing the day-to-day **logistics** and operations of our warehouse, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient resource allocation. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments, managing inventory records, overseeing staff, and ensuring compliance with **safety** regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the scheduling and tracking of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software.
- Oversee warehouse staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure adherence to all **safety** policies and **PPE** requirements.
- Manage warehouse supplies and equipment.
- Facilitate effective communication between warehouse staff and other departments.
- Assist in developing and implementing **logistics** process improvements.
- Conduct regular **safety** inspections and address any identified hazards.
- Prepare reports on warehouse productivity and inventory levels.
- Support **logistics** planning and execution for special projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a warehouse coordination or **logistics** role is required. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) is essential. Must be able to communicate effectively and lead a team. Familiarity with **safety** regulations and **PPE** protocols is mandatory. Ability to perform tasks requiring **Lifting** (up to 40 lbs) and stand for extended periods. A strong commitment to **safety** and operational efficiency is expected.
