We are looking for dedicated and energetic Warehouse Associates to join our growing logistics operation in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. You will contribute to the efficient flow of goods within the facility, ensuring that inventory is managed accurately and that orders are processed promptly. This position requires physical capability, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification may be required).
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, with an emphasis on lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear necessary PPE.
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a plus.
