Join our growing logistics team in Orlando, Florida as a Material Handler. We are looking for energetic individuals to support our warehouse operations by efficiently moving and organizing materials. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth workflows, from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. Your dedication to Safety and accuracy will contribute significantly to our team's success. Adherence to all Safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments and materials.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stock materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and rotation.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized workspace.
- Comply with all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform tasks that involve moderate physical exertion and Lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in our logistics hub.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, material handling, or similar role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Proficiency in manual Lifting and moving of goods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic.
- Commitment to following Safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts if needed.
