This vital role is responsible for a variety of warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, and preparing shipments for our valued customers. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. The Distribution Center Associate will work with cutting-edge warehouse technology and be expected to maintain high standards of productivity and quality. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to order slips.
- Stage products for shipping, ensuring correct items and quantities.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and RF scanners.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Identify and report any damaged products or discrepancies.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Experience with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts as needed.
- Willingness to use required PPE at all times.
