We are looking for enthusiastic Warehouse Associates to join our growing team in San Antonio, Texas. This is a vital role in our logistics network, involving a variety of tasks that keep our warehouse operations running smoothly. You'll be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Stock shelves and storage locations with incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and the use of PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring regular lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to operate various types of warehouse machinery and tools.
