Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage the daily operations of our warehouse facility in Washington, D.C. This key role involves supervising warehouse staff, optimizing workflows, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management principles, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of productivity and Safety within our Logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement effective inventory control procedures.
  • Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers and other departments to ensure smooth Logistics flow.
  • Implement and enforce strict adherence to Safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE .
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure operational readiness.
  • Must be able to assist with moderate Lifting tasks when required.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or coordination role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
  • Understanding of supply chain and Logistics management.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices for warehouse Safety .
  • Ability to handle pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
