We are seeking an energetic and efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Dallas, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and quickly selecting items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your speed and precision are key to ensuring timely shipments and customer satisfaction. This role is essential to our Logistics operations and requires individuals who are focused, agile, and committed to accuracy and Safety .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order slips.
- Use handheld scanners or other technology to track picked items.
- Pack selected items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for loading and verification.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Conduct regular checks of inventory levels in assigned picking zones.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE .
- Must be proficient in Lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order slips accurately.
- Experience with scanning technology and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and Logistics .
- Commitment to personal and workplace Safety .
