Join our bustling logistics hub in Denver, Colorado, as a Receiving Clerk. This role is essential for the initial intake of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency as products enter our facility. The Receiving Clerk is the first point of contact for inbound shipments and plays a vital role in maintaining an organized and secure receiving area. We are looking for a diligent individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to upholding safety standards. This position is key to the smooth flow of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify the quantity and quality of goods against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Inspect deliveries for any damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
- Accurately document all received goods in the inventory system.
- Stage received items for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, drivers, and internal departments.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks that involve lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
