Are you an experienced Forklift Operator seeking a new opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee? Join our fast-paced logistics operation where your skills are essential for efficient warehouse management. This role is crucial for the movement of goods within our distribution center. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your dedication to safety and operational excellence will be paramount. We are committed to providing a secure working environment, including the provision of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Key duties include:
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and inventory within the warehouse facility.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Stack and stage products in designated areas according to WMS instructions.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including those related to lifting and material handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Communicate effectively with logistics and warehouse management regarding daily tasks and any operational challenges.
- While forklift operation is primary, occasional manual tasks may require moderate Lifting, up to 30 pounds.
