We are hiring a Picker/Packer to join our fast-paced warehouse in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This involves using scanning devices, accurately locating items within the warehouse, and ensuring that orders are packed securely and correctly. Attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to accuracy are key. You will contribute directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are fulfilled precisely and efficiently. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe environment, requiring the proper use of PPE . Be prepared for consistent Lifting and movement. Adherence to all Safety procedures is non-negotiable. This role is integral to our Logistics chain.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Scan items to ensure accuracy and track inventory movement.
- Pack orders securely using appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order details before shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Follow all Safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Perform regular Lifting and reaching for items.
- Support the overall Logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and working in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong commitment to Safety and correct use of PPE .
- Understanding of basic warehouse Logistics .
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
