We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for our facility in Tampa, Florida. This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, from receiving goods to dispatching finished orders. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including inventory management, order picking and packing, loading and unloading shipments, and general warehouse upkeep. Our company places a high priority on safety, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks, such as frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and working in a dynamic logistics environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts and checks.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment.
- Contribute to efficient workflow and productivity.
- Process documentation related to inventory and shipments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and PPE usage.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with logistics principles is beneficial.
