Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift, reporting any issues.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the facility.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Participate in general warehouse duties as needed.
- Ensure that all lifting operations are conducted with maximum safety.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA-approved).
- In-depth knowledge of forklift operation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Good physical coordination and stamina.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Basic understanding of inventory and logistics principles.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
