We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy warehouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products within the warehouse. Your primary focus will be on safe and efficient material handling, ensuring smooth logistics operations. This position requires a valid forklift operator certification and a demonstrated commitment to Safety. You will perform pre-operation checks on equipment, maintain operational logs, and adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role demands precision, awareness of surroundings, and the ability to perform moderate Lifting when necessary. If you are an experienced Forklift Operator with a strong safety record and a desire to work in a dynamic logistics environment, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities include:
- Safely operating forklifts to move palletized goods and materials.
- Loading and unloading trucks, containers, and trailers.
- Stacking and unstacking inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Transporting materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Performing daily pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintaining accurate records of material movement.
- Adhering to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Proper use of required PPE at all times.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.
This role involves significant use of a forklift and requires the ability to perform occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Knowledge of warehouse logistics and safety best practices is essential.
