About the Role:

Are you ready to make an impact? Arrow is on the lookout for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic Account Management team as we expand in the United Kingdom. This role is a perfect blend of sales and engineering, where you'll be target-driven and focused on securing new business while delivering exceptional service to our existing customers. You will be a trusted partner, engaging with clients through regular on-site visits and gaining a deep understanding of their needs to maximize revenue and profitability. Your strategic planning and relationship-building skills will be key to driving solution sales and addressing design opportunities.

What Will You Do: Commercial Responsibilities
  • Maintain detailed account profiles for all assigned accounts.

  • Develop clear account strategies focused on high-growth opportunities using fact-based analysis.

  • Proactively promote Arrow's top suppliers across your account base.

  • Stay informed about competitor activity within your accounts.

  • Communicate effectively with internal resources to ensure efficient operations.

Demand Creation
  • Drive supplier initiatives and maximize Arrow's design-in content and technical services.

  • Keep accurate records of each customer's active development projects.

  • Coordinate manufacturer and FAE support to win new design opportunities.

  • Enhance customer engagement through Arrow's full range of technical services.

Supply Chain Management
  • Understand Arrow's supply chain solutions and apply them strategically across your accounts.

  • Manage stock levels through forecasting and backlog management.

  • Ensure continuity of supply while balancing inventory objectives.

  • Proactively recommend supply chain solutions that align with customer goals.

Who We Are Looking For:
  • Strong selling skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Industry knowledge, preferably with experience in distribution/OEM.

  • Technical selling skillset.

  • Customer-oriented with a sympathetic approach.

  • Excellent prospecting and presentation skills.

  • Energy, creativity, and focus.

  • Strong analytical and planning skills.
