This field-based role will cover Glasgow and the surrounding areas, providing you with a dynamic work environment.

As an Apprentice Service Technician, your primary goal is to immerse yourself in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, ultimately qualifying as a HVAC Service Technician. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Attend Glasgow Kelvin College to study for your Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pumps qualification.
• Work on a variety of HVAC equipment, from small water and air side products to large commercial systems.
• Participate in customer site visits, shadowing qualified Technicians.
• Learn about refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical breakdowns, both in-person and remotely.
• Gain experience with fans, air handling equipment, pumps, and water hydraulics.
• Explore digital control systems and basic Building Management Systems (BMS).

• Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English, Maths, Science, and ICT or Engineering.
• A full UK driving licence.
• A keen learner with a bright, inquisitive nature and a passion for involvement.
• Good written English skills.
• An interest in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Engineering, and the HVAC industry.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Confident and articulate communication skills.
