As an Apprentice Electrician , you will:

• Gain expertise in various electrical installations.
• Maintain our fleet of mobile/transportable steam and hot water boiler systems.
• Focus on inspection and testing in accordance with BS7671 .
• Develop your knowledge of control wiring and fault-finding techniques.

• Work on industrial steam and hot water boiler systems.
• Wire and test various types of motors and pumps.
• Participate in customer site visits, shadowing qualified Technicians.
• Learn about different electrical installations, including mobile and fixed wiring.
• Engage in refurbishment projects on steam boilers.
• Troubleshoot and support technically challenging breakdowns.
• Work with electrical power supplies and control panels.
• Explore digital control systems and basic Building Management Systems (BMS).

• Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English, Science, and Maths.
• A driving license is desirable (to be obtained by the second year of the apprenticeship).
• A keen learner who is eager to ask questions and get involved.
• Good written English skills.
• An interest in electrical engineering, heating systems, and control panels.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
