Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Carrier is excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate Sales Engineer to join our dynamic Applied sales team in the North East . Your mission? To drive new business and elevate our sales to new heights!
Your Role as a Sales EngineerAs a Sales Engineer, you will:
- Develop Specification Sales: Focus on our cutting-edge HVAC equipment, including Chillers and Heat Pumps, throughout North East England.
- Identify New Opportunities: Seek out and cultivate new business avenues, boosting sales of both finished goods and related services.
- Implement Strategic Growth: Collaborate with M&E contractors, distributors, and consultants to expand our market presence.
- Maintain Customer Relationships: Regularly engage with customers, requiring some travel.
- Handle Reporting & Administration: Keep track of your progress and activities.
- Collaborate with Sales Teams: Work alongside our existing sales teams to enhance market share in your region.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of the HVAC industry, especially hydronic chilled water and heating applications.
- Sales Experience: A proven track record in HVAC sales, working with contractors, M&E’s, and specification consultants.
- Time Management Skills: Ability to manage your own schedule and customer interactions effectively.
- Presentation Skills: Confidence in conducting meetings and presenting ideas.
- Competitor Awareness: Understanding of the competitive landscape.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Driving License: A valid UK driving license is essential.
- IT Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office and other relevant software.
