Location: London / South East

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Carrier is excited to announce an opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join our dynamic Applied sales team in the vibrant London / South East region. Your mission? To drive new business and elevate our sales to new heights!

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Develop Specification Sales: Focus on our cutting-edge HVAC equipment, including Chillers and Heat Pumps, across South East England.
  • Identify New Opportunities: Seek out and cultivate new business avenues, boosting sales of both finished goods and related services.
  • Implement Strategic Growth: Collaborate with M&E contractors, distributors, and consultants to expand our market presence.
  • Maintain Customer Relationships: Ensure regular contact with clients, requiring some travel.
  • Handle Reporting & Administration: Keep track of your progress and manage your responsibilities efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams: Work alongside our direct sales teams to enhance market share in your designated region.
What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of the HVAC industry, especially hydronic chilled water and heating applications.
  • Sales Experience: A strong background in HVAC sales, particularly with installing contractors, M&E’s, and specification consultants.
  • Time Management Skills: Ability to manage your own schedule, set targets, and track your progress.
  • Presentation Skills: Confidence in conducting meetings and presenting ideas effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Driving License: A valid UK driving license is essential.
  • IT Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office and other relevant software.
