Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to patients in need
- Assess patient condition and administer appropriate medical treatments
- Safely transport patients to the hospital or other medical facilities
- Communicate with healthcare professionals and relay important patient information
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain and clean medical equipment and supplies
Experience:
- Previous experience as a paramedic preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, National Registry or State of Georgia Certified Paramedic, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certifications
Please note that this position may require heavy lifting and the ability to work in fast-paced environments on ambulances.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $60,398.00 - $91,507.98 per year
Expected hours: 36 – 72 per week
