Border Patrol Agent - Experienced (GL9 / GS11)

About the Job


The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking highly skilled candidates to fill experienced Border Patrol Agent positions. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders and enforcing federal laws.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.

  • Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

  • Maintaining surveillance from covert positions during night operations.

  • Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry.

  • Patrolling international boundaries using various government assets such as vehicles, vessels, watercraft,

Age Restriction:  This position falls under law enforcement retirement provisions which means that Candidates must be referred for selection before reaching their 40th birthday.
