• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws requires keen observational skills, excellent communication abilities and a strong understanding of relevant legislation.

• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens involves maintaining surveillance from covert positions using advanced technology such as infrared scopes during night operations.
