Protective Community Officer

As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders and protecting its citizens. This dynamic position requires individuals who are passionate about serving their community and dedicated to upholding the law.

Your primary responsibilities will include detecting and apprehending individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, and preventing illegal entry of persons or contraband at or near the border.

• Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.


• Residency: You must have had primary U.S. residency (including protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.


• Law Enforcement Experience: You must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level performing duties such as arresting suspects, conducting physical searches, preparing investigative reports etc..
