Job Title: IT Project Manager (Waterfall/Hybrid Methodology Only) Location: Preferred Charlotte, NC (Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote) Other Remote Locations Considered: Boston, Houston, Dallas, Detroit, Philadelphia Travel Required: Up to 50%, and as needed for successful project execution Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven IT Project Manager to join our growing team. The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of technology-related projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Senior-level Project Manager with start-to-finish application and infrastructure implementation experience using Waterfall and/or Hybrid methodology only. Scrum Masters or Agile Practitioners are not applicable for this position. Cloud/SAAS conversion and implementation experience is a plus Program Management experience, providing oversight on multiple implementations simultaneously Expert at building and maintaining relationships with team members, customers, and vendors Capable of setting (and maintaining) the tone and personality on every project Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Facilitate regular project meetings, provide status updates, and maintain detailed project documentation. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, best practices, and policies. Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and recommend improvements for future projects. Develop and implement project management standards and processes to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. Collaborate closely with IT leadership to align project goals with overall IT strategy. Oversee project budgeting, tracking expenditures, and providing financial reports and forecasts. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the IT project lifecycle. Manage change control procedures effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Train and mentor project team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field. 3-5 years of experience managing complex IT implementation, upgrade, and improvement projects, start to finish. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com preferred, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira). Demonstrated experience with Waterfall/Hybrid ONLY project management methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Preferred Qualifications: PMP certification is strongly preferred. Experience managing ERP (especially Epicor Prophet 21), CRM, or other enterprise application implementations. Familiarity with IT infrastructure, change management processes, and interaction with software development lifecycle teams.
