The Data Analyst Intern will support data quality, reporting automation, analytics, and documentation initiatives. This role will analyze product usage, weights, and yield performance while leveraging SQL, Python, and Power BI to evaluate operational data and improve reporting processes. The intern will compare expected production outcomes to real-time results, identify discrepancies, and help drive data-informed decision-making across systems. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: Computer Science Data Science Artificial Intelligence Statistics / Mathematics Business Analytics Engineering Required Technical Skills
Strong SQL knowledge: SELECT, JOINs, WHERE, GROUP BY, HAVING, ORDER BY CTEs, Stored Procedures, Views Understanding of database concepts (indexes, keys, data types, granularity) Ability to analyze and interpret production or operational data Professional Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and reliability Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize Clear written and verbal communication Self-Starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Other Qualifications
Power BI (data connections, Power Query, measures) Python (Pandas library, software development concepts) Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI-assisted tools Experience with ERP systems (Produce Pro a plus) Personal data or software projects This role supports a production environment, which may occasionally require working in a cold setting (approximately 35 F). Pass the pre-employment background check and drug screen (THC does not disqualify you) Essential Job Functions
Analyze product usage, weights, and yield performance. Compare expected vs. actual production results and identify variances. Support data quality, testing, and process documentation. Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for operational reporting. Use SQL (T-SQL preferred) to query and analyze production data. Support or develop Python-based automation for recurring reports Refactor and improve existing SQL and Python code to enhance performance, readability, and maintainability. Perform other duties as assigned.
