Border Enforcement Specialist

Job Overview:

You will work as a border patrol officer in one of our 60 field operations across the country.

As a border patrol officer, you will detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws by inspecting documents, possessions to determine citizenship violations, preventing apprehensions of alien smugglers, maintaining surveillance using infrared scopes. Perform farm checks, building checks traffic checks city patrols transportation checks patrolling international boundaries coastal waterways government assets vehicles horses vessels watercraft off-road vehicles ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles accomplishing USBP Mission

• SALARY GL9 GS11 $63,148 per year
  Overtime Pay up to 25%


• Newly appointed Border Patrol Agents defined in CFR will be offered up to $20,000 incentive first $10,000 paid upon successful completion of Border Patrol Academy remaining $10,000 awarded for accepting prioritized location
