Border Patrol Agent Job Summary
As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our nation's borders and protecting its citizens.
You will be responsible for inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations. This includes:

Examining travel documents such as passports and visas
Evaluating the authenticity of identification cards and other documents

The successful candidate will also have excellent physical abilities, allowing them to work in challenging outdoor environments. They must be able to maintain surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.
A key responsibility of this role is preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers at or near the borders. This requires strong analytical skills, enabling you to interpret physical evidence such as tracks, marks, and other signs of illegal entry.
