Border Enforcement Specialist

• Responsibilities:

1. Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations;
2. Prevent and apprehend undocumented non-citizens and smugglers of non-citizens at or near borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations;
3. Interpret and follow tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband;
4. Perform farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks; patrol international boundaries using vehicles equipped with advanced technology for enhanced mission effectiveness.
