About Our SchoolLocated in Wigan, our new school provides a safe and supportive environment for pupils aged 5 to 16. Your Role and Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons within the national curriculum, addressing the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
- Report on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other school staff to meet pupils' needs.
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
- Build positive relationships with pupils to drive interaction and achieve positive learning outcomes.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Possess a suitable qualification to degree level
- Have previous successful teaching experience
- Experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which will be covered by Polaris Education.
