Material Handler
The Material Handler is responsible for supporting production by efficiently moving, staging, and organizing materials throughout the facility. This role ensures materials are available where and when needed, performs routine inspections, assists with inventory accuracy, and maintains a clean and safe work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare assigned work areas by staging necessary materials and ensuring readiness for production according to schedule. Move materials between workstations, departments, or storage areas to support continuous production flow and meet operational needs. Locate, move, and organize stock product to proper storage or staging areas. Follow standard operating procedures for inspecting materials and identifying any defects or damage; route nonconforming items for rework. Communicate with area leads, production staff, and maintenance teams to ensure material availability and resolve issues as needed. Assist with line-side material delivery and removal to maintain a steady supply of components at each work center. Scan and process work orders accurately and complete all required documentation per On-the-Job (OTJ) training guidelines. Perform routine checks and basic preventative maintenance on handling equipment and document findings using provided devices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift and during designated cleaning times. Use a tablet to determine which hardware to pull, print labels, and update tags on pallets with quantity. Then combine with the appropriate product/work order. Assist inventory team with audits and inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate system inventory. Assist in RMA process. Perform other duties or fill in other departments as assigned. Other Responsibilities
Utilize various hand tools and tablets to perform duties. Practice and model proper safety rules and procedures. Report to and be ready to work at the scheduled start time. Comply with all safety and company policies. Wear proper PPE equipment as required for the area. Perform forklift and hardware pulling as needed. Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

Education: None Experience and/or Training: Fork Lift / Material Handling Licenses/Certificates: None Technology/Equipment: None Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications
Education: High school graduate, GED or equivalent. Experience and/or Training: Internal experience as a General Labor employee. External experience as Material Handling, Forklift or Machine operator. Licenses/Certificates: None Technology/Equipment: Basic computer skills, i.e., use of a keyboard, navigation of software application. Physical and Mental Demands
Standing for the working hours of each shift, 10 plus hours daily. Walking in the Production department to different areas of work. Speaking, hearing, seeing. Listen and observe the environment for hazard prevention. Use hands for tools. Regularly lift 30-50 lbs. throughout shift. Team-lift as specified by leadership. Bend, twist, and turn repeatedly. Working Environment
Indoor working environment, hot in Summer, temperature controlled in Winter. Moving machinery, i.e. forklifts, moveable carts, etc. Uneven ground where cart tracks are identified. Air quality may be dusty and potentially require additional PPE in certain areas. Sound level below 85 decibels except in areas specified as requiring hearing protection. Employer Statement
