*Position Overview*
We are seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect to design and lead scalable Salesforce solutions supporting a federal government client. This role is responsible for translating business needs into technical architecture, guiding development teams, and ensuring solutions align with Salesforce best practices, security standards, and federal requirements.
The ideal candidate has strong Salesforce architecture experience and a proven background supporting federal government environments.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Solution Architecture & Design*
* Lead the design of end-to-end Salesforce solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
* Define system architecture, data models, integrations, and security frameworks.
* Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Salesforce best practices.
* Evaluate new platform features and recommend enhancements or optimizations.
*Technical Leadership*
* Provide technical guidance and oversight to developers, administrators, and project teams.
* Review and approve solution designs, configurations, and custom development.
* Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and governance practices.
* Support release planning and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams.
*Stakeholder Collaboration*
* Work closely with federal stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and priorities.
* Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences.
* Participate in solution reviews, technical briefings, and architecture governance meetings.
*Compliance & Quality*
* Ensure solutions meet federal security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
* Support documentation, audits, and system reviews as required by the contract.
* Identify risks and provide mitigation strategies related to architecture, performance, or scalability.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
* Experience supporting a federal government client.
* Ability to pass a Federal Background Investigation.
* Salesforce certifications such as System Architect, Application Architect, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
* 7+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform.
* 3+ years of experience in a Salesforce architecture or technical leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, integrations, data management, and security.
* Experience designing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with complex integrations (APIs, middleware, external systems).
* Familiarity with federal compliance or security frameworks.
* Experience working in a federal contracting environment.
