We are looking for a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Sacramento, California. In this critical role, you will operate a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be responsible for loading and unloading pallets, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Experience with high-reach machinery is essential, along with a proven track record of safe operation. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Your primary focus will be on optimizing warehouse space and ensuring smooth flow of goods within the facility. Adherence to strict Safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE are non-negotiable. This role involves significant Lifting and requires someone who can handle physically demanding tasks. Join our growing Logistics team and contribute to our operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Operate reach truck machinery safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload pallets from shelves, trucks, and staging areas.
- Pick and place inventory accurately according to orders.
- Perform routine checks on reach truck equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow all Safety procedures and protocols.
- Utilize required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Ability to perform manual Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
