Essential Functions: Designs, fabricates, and repairs dental prosthesis/dental appliances using designated software technology. Reads and understands prescriptions included with case; constructs prostheses by following doctors' written orders and instructions. Assists with utilizing designated system and software to scan impressions. Articulates and trims digital models. Performs quality control checks on scans and designs using CAD/CAM program. Determines suitability of customer impressions. Selects appropriate manufacturing settings for each product. Performs undercut curtain check and removal. Performs crown seating simulation and adjusts design as needed. Follows quality standard protocols. Tests software and hardware; validates or calibrates system or equipment as needed. Assists in various tasks relating to the scan and design process. Uploads files as required. Documents actions by completing forms, logs and reports. Works closely with quality control specialists and addresses all issues regarding quality standards. Follows all quality standard protocols and Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Recognizes and reports problem cases or cases that need additional prep work. Relies on technical knowledge to make decisions and accomplish departmental goals. Follows all safety protocols. Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management. Education and Experience: Basic dental training. Prior dental experience or background, a plus. Previous experience working in positions that require hand and finger dexterity, a plus. Pay Range: $18.00/hr
