Join our vibrant distribution center in Austin, Texas, as an Order Picker! We are searching for motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick items to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our customer satisfaction, requiring speed, precision, and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanning device.
- Locate items in the warehouse efficiently using aisle and bin numbers.
- Ensure correct product quantities and types are picked.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Stage orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other lifting equipment as needed.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Meet established picking quotas and performance standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds repetitively.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
